Amazon's new Eero Outdoor 7 brings reliable Wi-Fi 7 speeds and weatherproof durability, delivering fast, expansive coverage up to 15,000 square feet for even the most demanding outdoor setups.

Amazon's new Eero Outdoor 7, a robust Wi-Fi 7 access point, is designed to expand internet access in outdoor areas, delivering up to 15,000 square feet of coverage. This access point features an IP66 rating, making it resistant to dust and powerful water jets, allowing it to withstand severe weather conditions with an operating temperature range from -40°F to 130°F. This durability makes it particularly suitable for environments prone to harsh weather, extending reliable Wi-Fi for outdoor cameras, backyard work, or coverage at events.

Performance-wise, the Eero Outdoor 7 offers Wi-Fi speeds up to 2.1 Gbps, along with a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port that supports power-over-Ethernet (PoE) for simple setup and consistent power supply. Additionally, users have the option of a 30W power adapter for flexibility in powering the device from outdoor AC outlets. This model is part of Amazon’s Wi-Fi 7 line, alongside the Eero Max 7, which boasts even faster speeds but at a higher price point. Both models leverage the capabilities of Wi-Fi 7, such as wider channels (up to 320 MHz), multi-link operation (MLO), and support for multiple high-speed devices across large spaces

The Outdoor 7, available for $350 or $400 bundled with an adapter, launches on November 13 in the U.S., with availability in Canada expected soon. This model targets users needing robust, long-range outdoor connectivity, including homeowners with extensive properties, hospitality venues, and commercial setups.
