Intel has introduced the E830 and E610 Ethernet series, delivering high-performance, energy-efficient networking solutions for enterprise, cloud, telecom, and edge applications. These new adapters enhance scalability, reduce power consumption, and optimize network infrastructure for modern data-intensive workloads.

Intel has unveiled two new Ethernet product lines—the E830 and E610 series—designed to meet the growing demands of enterprise, telecommunications, cloud, edge, high-performance computing (HPC), and artificial intelligence (AI) applications.

Intel Ethernet E830 Series: High Performance and Versatility

The Intel Ethernet E830 family offers high-performance, secure, and efficient solutions for virtualized enterprise, cloud, telecom, and edge environments. Initial models include dual-port 25GbE PCIe and OCP 3.0-compliant adapters, with more configurations expected later this year.

Intel Ethernet E610 Series: Improved Efficiency and Manageability

The Intel Ethernet E610 series is a 10Gbase-T lineup supporting multi-gigabit speeds with up to 50% lower power consumption compared to previous models. This includes single and quad-port options, such as the E610-XT4, utilizing PCIe Gen4 x8 split configurations.

Enhanced Performance and Security

By integrating Intel’s Xeon processors with these Ethernet solutions, businesses can build scalable, data-intensive applications that improve efficiency and reduce costs. The E830 and E610 families provide significant advancements in performance per watt and robust security for data centers and edge computing.

Intel’s Vision for the Future

Bob Ghaffari, Intel’s Vice President of the Network and Edge Group, emphasized the importance of networking in today’s digital world. These new products aim to help customers optimize network infrastructures, lower operational costs, and enhance total cost of ownership (TCO).
