MSI unveils RadiX BE19000 and new Wi-Fi 7 gaming routers at Computex

MSI expanded its networking lineup at the Computex 2026 trade show in Taipei, unveiling three Wi-Fi 7 gaming routers under its RadiX branding to mark the company's 40th anniversary. The new hardware tier is spearheaded by a flagship tri-band unit featuring an integrated storage expansion slot designed for local backups.

The flagship RadiX BE19000 delivers 12-stream wireless connections across the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands. According to MSI, the router can achieve cumulative wireless speeds of up to 19 Gbps while utilizing Multi-Link Operation to minimize latency during intensive multiplayer sessions. To accommodate local file sharing and network backups, MSI integrated a PCIe SSD slot directly into the router's mainboard, a feature the company terms a "NAS Lite" experience. A quad-core processor running at 1.8 GHz handles the data processing demands of both the high-throughput wireless channels and the storage interface.

Visually, the RadiX BE19000 departs from conventional styling with a translucent, hexagon-shaped housing. Eight external antennas extend from the chassis to optimize signal propagation. Physical connectivity is equally high-performance, offering two 10GbE ports alongside four 2.5GbE ports, ensuring compatibility with multi-gigabit fiber connections and high-speed local switches.

Positioned as a mid-tier option, the RadiX BE9400 utilizes a more traditional black-and-gray shell accented by RGB illumination. This model supports standard Wi-Fi 7 capabilities, including 320 MHz channel widths and 4096-QAM signal modulation, to provide maximum wireless speeds of up to 9.4 Gbps. The RadiX BE9400 relies on a 1.5 GHz processor to manage its operations and features four 2.5GbE ports for physical connections.

The entry point of the new lineup is the RadiX BE3600. This dual-band router is designed with a standard rectangular housing and four external antennas. It supports Multi-Link Operation and delivers wireless link speeds up to 3,600 Mbps. Its physical port layout includes one 2.5GbE port and three 1GbE ports. Tom's Hardware reported that MSI has not yet disclosed pricing or release dates for any of the three networking devices.
